The project involved the restoration and safety of some Etruscan Vie Cave in the Pitigliano and Sorano area, with works aimed at enhancing and fully using the historical and naturalistic routes. The work included extraordinary cleaning of the routes by cutting down invasive vegetation, removing debris and obstacles, strengthening the most deteriorated areas, and renovating the pedestrian paths. Special attention was paid to the safety of the routes and the protection of the tuff walls. The project enabled the functional recovery of sections of significant historical and landscape value, restoring accessibility and decor to a system of Etruscan routes of relevant cultural and urban interest.

The project involved the redevelopment and enhancement of the access area to the historic village, through the creation of a new connection system between the parking area and the town center. A reinforced concrete staircase clad in local stone and Corten steel was constructed, designed to integrate with the existing historic walls and fit into the architectural context with coherent materials and colors. The work was designed to minimize earthworks and to ensure safety and usability even at night through integrated lighting. At the same time, the public toilets were renovated, removing architectural barriers by building a new, compliant ramp and adapting the interior spaces, ensuring full accessibility. This project improved the connection between the public spaces and the village, combining restoration, functionality, and respect for the historical context.

The project focused on enhancing Montemassi Castle, making the site fully accessible and safe, while respecting its significant historical and landscape value. The works included the construction of a raised steel and wood pedestrian platform, anchored to the rock without interfering with the historic walls, designed to reconstruct the central space between the towers and allow for rest and enjoyment of the area. The access staircase and protective parapets were also constructed, using lightweight steel structures and wood finishes. The construction site, located on a hilltop with difficult access, required a dedicated operational organization, using small vehicles and mostly on-site assembly. This project combines preservation, contemporaneity, and enhancement, restoring the castle to full accessibility and revitalizing its cultural importance in the area.

The project involved one of the area's iconic sites, restoring the Rocca's two internal plazas and redeveloping the entrance areas to the monumental complex. The floorings were completely redone in cocciopesto, respecting the original historical and material characteristics, restoring continuity and architectural quality to the fortress's interior spaces. At the same time, the entrance halls were renovated by replastering and restoring the wall surfaces, restoring order, uniformity, and decorum to the entrance areas. This project combined meticulous execution, careful selection of materials, and the enhancement of the historical heritage.
