The project involved extraordinary maintenance and energy efficiency improvements to the school complex in Roccastrada, with measures aimed at improving the performance of the building envelope and making the roof safe. The deteriorated fiber cement roofing was completely replaced with insulated sandwich panels made of double-layer galvanized steel, ensuring improved thermal insulation and durability. At the same time, the shape of some roof slopes was modified to optimize rainwater drainage and improve the overall functionality of the roof. The works also included complete rainwater management, the installation of a lifeline for safe access to the roof, and additional complementary restoration and recovery interventions on existing structures.
