The work involved the construction of retaining and protection structures for the roadway, using a micro-pile bulkhead placed upstream of the existing retaining wall to consolidate the ground and stabilize the affected area. At the same time, the road's drainage system was rebuilt, installing new pipes and prefabricated manholes to improve stormwater management and prevent infiltration. To complete the structural work, the asphalt road surface was rebuilt, with adequate structural thickness, in correspondence with the excavations. This infrastructure consolidation and restoration project aimed at ensuring safety, stability, and full functionality of the road system.
